How To Get Admitted Into A Ngierian University Without Jamb

1. IJMB- Interim Joint Admission Matriculation Board

The Interim Joint Admission Matriculation Board is one sure way to be admitted into a Nigerian university without JAMB. If you are struggling with very low grades in JAMB, a better alternative to try out is the IJMB.

The Initiative of the IJMB was brought to light because of the need to get northerners admitted to universities even though they had poor grades in JAMB. Since its commencement, the IJMB has spread throughout the country and is the best bet for a JAMBITE with a low score.

2. The Cambridge A’ level

This is another way to get admitted into the Nigerian university system without the use of JAMB. The Cambridge A’ level is a course that is of british curriculum. Upon completion of this programme, you would be admitted into the 200 level of your choice university through Direct entry.

3. Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board

If you are done with writing JAMB multiples times, then one sure way to get admitted without any huddles is the JUPEB programme. This 9-month program is certified and approved by the NUC- Nigerian universities commission.

The JUPEB programme that is across the whole country is moderated by the university of Lagos, Nigeria. Other than UNILAG, they have other partner universities and coordinating bodies.

One big advantage of the JUPEB program, is that all you need to register is your O’ level results. When you are done with your JUPEB programme, you would be awarded a certificate. With this certificate, you can apply for 200 level direct entry in the university where you did the JUPEB programme.
